Qualification : MBA, PhD in services marketing area from Assam Central University

Experience : 12 years in Academics and 2 years in industry.

  1. Worked as Associate Professor in Dept. of Management Studies, T. John College, Bangalore from 18th May, 2015 to 30th June, 2016
     
  2. Worked as Assistant Professor (Sr. Grade) with ICFAI University from 8th November, 2006 to 15th May, 2015. (8 ½ years). Also took up the charge of Academic Head and looked after academic administration of three departments namely, Faculty of Management Studies, Faculty of Computer Science and faculty of Hospitality management from 1st April 2012 to 15th May, 2015.
     
  3. Worked as a Faculty Member in Management with R. K. Degree College, Silchar, Assam from 01 January, 2005 to 06 November, 2006.
     
  4. Worked with Reliance Infocom, Bangalore, as Associate in Enterprise Customer Facing Unit (ECFU) for two years (2002-2004). Handled Key Corporate Accounts and was involved in rolling out of Reliance India Mobile, the first commercial CDMA technology mobile phones in India. Liaison activities  with key Government Departments and corporates in Bangalore for installation of Digital Loop Converter (DLC) and Optic Fiber Cable (OFC) meant for high speed telecom and internet connectivity.
     
  5. Member (Chancellor’s nominee) in the Board of Management in ICFAI University, Nagaland since 2014.
     
  6. Was a Member of Academic Council of ICFAI University, Mizoram from April, 2012 to April, 2015.
     
  7. Was a Member of Board of Studies & Research of ICFAI University, Mizoram from April, 2011 to April, 2015.


Research interests : Research interest is in area of Social Marketing and is actively involved in pursuing quality research work in the area. Developed and proposed separate set of marketing mix elements (4Ps) for Social Marketing area. The model was presented at International Conference on Marketing organized by IIT, Delhi, XLRI and Curtin University, Australia in December, 2013. Also, has an  interest in Bottom of  the Pyramid marketing.


Organized National Level Conference as Co-Convenor: Organized a National Level Conference on the theme “Innovation for Growth, Sustainability, Inclusion and Preservation” as Co-Convenor on 14th of June, 2016 at T. John College, Bangalore.
