Professor Sanjeev Padashetty is a Pharmacy graduate with an MBA from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga, Karnataka. His doctoral thesis is on “Consumer Perception towards Private Label Brands in Food Retailing Industry”. Professor Padashetty has 18 years of combined experience of facilitating courses along with industry experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing. He teaches Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, Retail marketing, Brand Management and Business Marketing across Doctoral, MBA and E-MBA Programs.


He has a number of research papers to his credit, and some of his research work includes on Organic Food Retailing, Marketonomics of Cloud Computing, Adoption of Big Data Analytics, Private Label Branding, and Sensory Marketing. Currently his research interests are in the area of consumer psychology and Neuroscience of decision making.
